What's new#

AVD Deploy has one version number for the page and what it deploys, shown at the top of the page. Every update gets a new number, and older versions stay available so an open tab keeps working.

  • The VM size list includes every D, E, F and B-series size that suits the template, with the ones your subscription can't use greyed out.
  • A clear message when the page is out of date.

AVD Deploy moves from its own site to deploy.andykemp.com/avd and runs in your browser:

  • a six-page design wizard, with only regions that have quota;
  • your choice of VM size and local administrator password;
  • Microsoft 365 Apps or Intune-managed apps;
  • an optional Intune device group of the session hosts;
  • a warning about devices left from an earlier deployment;
  • Finish setup for RDP sign-in, the storage app, Conditional Access and FSLogix permissions, each confirmed before and after.
