What's new#

BlobDrive is in beta. The version is on the splash screen and in Help, About, and BlobDrive offers each update itself (or Tools, Check for updates).

v0.3.0 (beta)#

The first public build.

  • Files On-Demand for Azure Blob Storage, Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3 and S3-compatible stores, with a cache size per drive
  • Azure sign-in with your work account through Windows, so Conditional Access applies; or a SAS token
  • Uploads of new and changed files; nothing is ever deleted in the cloud
  • The AKC window and menus, as AKC AppDeploy: File, Tools and Help, a welcome window, Add a drive in three steps, Settings and About
  • Notification area: each drive's status, Sync now, Pause, Free up space
  • Per-user installer, no administrator rights, starts with Windows
  • Updates itself from downloads.andykemp.com, checked against a published SHA-256; the ManagedUpdates policy turns it off
